It's absolutely fucking criminal that their last UK headline tour was in 2010.

I'm protesting until they come back.

 

I posted the same in the news. It is blasphemy!

 

Always up for new AFI although last few have been fun/forgettable listens.

 

Mainly because of Jade producing I feel as there were some solid songs across the last few releases.

 

I'll always be excited for new music from these guys but I'm even more excited to get to see them headline again, can't wait

The venue size in DC seems a little ambitious but maybe I'm underestimating their popularity

 

Have they supported over here since then?

 

I only know of three dates supporting Deftones in 2016.

 

I just want to see those new press photos with daddy Davey looking like Zeus

 

That was the last time I saw AFI was when they supported Deftones at Ally Pally

Per the thread it at least looks like AFI is on Run For Cover.

 

Seems like such a strange pairing to me. RFC seem to be so indie. It does not give me hope for good AFI music.

 

RFC has worked with legacy acts in the past and it typically goes well.

 

I'm a bit surprised that RFC could get AFI. I don't know why. I guess it thought maybe they'd be...like, too expensive?
