Sucks they don’t come over to the UK anymore. I don’t think they’ve done a headline tour in well over a decade.
Burials is essentially a modern version of Sing The Sorrow for me. I listen to STS late summer/into Halloween. Now’s it’s been Burials this time of year. I actually really like the last album quite a bit too. I enjoy the post-punk/new wave stuff these guys put out.
Dear lord I want to spend $275 on this so bad. https://shop.afireinside.net/produc...1j7Rjk5zw6NJU1qkyXBULfUrHC1VnfH9LlTdCeYtQuW2U
I'm not sure about a remaster but I could see them releasing this with the b-sides on streaming at some point (or a separate EP; honestly, I would prefer that). A remaster of the album would be nice, though. While we're at it: Petition for all bands to "clean-up" the "singles" section of their release pages on streaming services. It always gets so messy after an album drop and A.F.I.'s is exceptionally bad...
Is there not a digital download the comes with this vinyl? Also, is there a tracklist yet to specify which b-sides?
There's probably a download code but I'm pretty sure I have all of them in my MP3 library. Would be nice to listen to 'em on the go though... No full track list as to what else might be included (e.g., live tracks, acoustic versions or whatever) but at minimum based on the titles on each 7" in the video it'll include: Synethesia, Reiver's Music, Rabbits Are Roadkill, Now the World, and 100 Words.
https://rockabilia.com/products/afi...exclusive-vinyl-428450?variant=39417626886231 Is this a known thing? Maybe I missed announcements about this, but just found a bunch of old AFI repressed and limited and in stock over on Rockabilia.
It's available in the UK and a big suprise.. an deluxe edition of Sing The Sorrow which has 18 songs on it!!
oh interestinggg I don't think I have ever heard that original version of 100 Words. The rest of those b-sides are classic, cool to have them in one place
I can finally listen to Synesthesia without breaking out my old iPod Touch that has all the bsides on it.
