Speaking of the Forum, I have decided to skip the show. The truth is that my anxiety extends far beyond merely travel, and while I love to see bands I also hate shows, if that makes sense. I can't handle the crowds, and it's definitely gotten worse as I age. The pandemic was amazing for me because of all the livestreams without having to deal with a crowd , even if I wasn't actuallythere. But, it's not all sad. I got to see them play 3/4 of the album back in 2003 when they were supporting it. I hope everyone who goes has a great time, and I'll be living vicariously through YouTube videos.

Jerry Finn tribute was nice.

 

I figure the whole album must've been already tough on Davey. I watched the video above and while he was obviously struggling on the higher notes, hearing him nail all the screams was thrilling. It must've been a blast in person. They really gave it all.

 

My friends stood by the soundboard all night and then Davey and Jade came out on a small B stage right behind them. RIP my friends.

love that they just played the album and not a single note more. had a great time, wish his vocals were a bit louder. I kinda hate the forum as a venue, and would have rather this was at palladium or something.

felt they could have done something a bit better with their visuals and IMAG looks. felt like they just grabbed whatever they had in the vault regardless of when they made it and then throw some god awful preset looks onto the camera feeds for the rest. cheap and horrible

 

Yeah, I hated the visuals. But seeing my favorite album of all time in full meant so much to me.

Watching the STS show. You’d never in a million years believe these guys are knocking on 50. Their energy is off the fucking charts.
