i really dislike those first 3 albums tbh

 

Shut Your Mouth is my favorite out of the three because I love the intensity. Very Proud of Ya has a special place for me too. I was working nights one summer and I listened to that almost every shift for a month while laying out the store. Great self-loathing music.

 

I like Crash Love

 

Hard to be mad at Crash Love when it has a song as good as End Transmission and a b-side as good as Too Late for Gods

 

Crash Love is fine. Last song is weak but I love most of the album. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Yea I just relistened to it and it's solid. It had a tough act to follow. Sacrilege is really really good.

 

Davey's vocals on Sacrelige sound so different from the rest of the album. I thought it was recorded during STS when first heard it.

 

Same with the guitar in the second verse. Love when they pepper in "throwback" moments like that. Get the same vibe on a few blood album songs.

 

Crash Love is great

Also Blaqk Audio has made some of the catchiest songs I've ever heard in my life

 

Glad to see this thread come back to life maybe we do have enough people for a bracket?

Also Crash Love is solid!

 

To each their own! They have plenty of other material for me to enjoy.

 

Crash love is criminally underrated. @Davjs and I have been saying that for years!

 

"Darling, I Want to Destroy You" is one goddamn sexy banger.

 

So down for an AFI bracket!

 

Gives me David Bowie vibes and I absolutely LOVE it

 

Plus the b-sides for it are probably my favorite they've put out. "We've Got the Knife" is so good.

 

Deluxe of Crash Love is definitely the essential version

 

Torch Song doesn't get enough love. On that tour, they opened with it and it sounded so good live. Wish they'd bring it back.

 

Completely agree those b-sides are so good!

 

You all are truly the first people I've known in the past 8 years to say anything positive about Crash Love.

 

IMO, it's the last decent record they put out.

 

Say wuhhhhh?! Over Burials and The Blood Album! No way.

 

There was only one song I return to on Burials and Blood was just plain boring.

 

To each their own I always say. I loved seeing the return to form for them. There's a few tracks I'm not big on with TBA, but I really like Burials.
