no, they are not they just receive a lot of shit because "NUMETAL WAS NEVER COOL DUH" revisionism and because the majority of nu metal does in fact suck but the first 5 Korn records are sick
I honestly only think they have a few bad albums (Self Titled 2, The Paradigm Shift and most of Path of Totality). Even though I hate the term nu metal, as do the bands that were roped into that, a lot of bands in that "genre" were awesome.
AFI headlining would result in a ton of the crowd leaving though since KoRn draws waaayyyyy bigger crowd. If AFI were the only opener and played like 12 songs, that'd be amazing. This brings up the sad memory of me missing Linkin Park with AFI opening when they toured Burials. Limp Bizkit has their good songs. They are a band everyone loves to hate but at the same time, everyone jammed when they were younger.
go make a Korn thread. This one is about AFI. I really wish this album would leak already. We've all heard the samples at this point. It's gonna be a long 2.5 months.
For a serious good tour , take out Crazy town and Limp. Nah. So many other threads go off the rails way more. The yellowcard one was so ridiculous before the album release. I loved it. Also we are still relating it to AFI, as they should open for them.
Fucking genius. I think I'd rather them do Children of the Korn though with Davey doing Ice Cube's part.
On my AFI jam mix, I have Affliction followed up with Death of Seasons. The instrumental outro flows really well into Death of Seasons if anyone wants to try it out.
On the subject of b-sides and non-album tracks, these two songs are really doing it for me this week.
I love on the Arrow. They played it live when I saw them tour Crash Love. Honestly probably the best AFI show I'll ever get to see.
i too have listened to a lot and i mean A LOT of AFI this week. im surprised this hasnt leaked since that 20 minute snippet collection dropped. not too far away tho
I haven't explored this band beyond Sing the Sorrow and a few tracks off of Decemberunderground, but they're a band I've always kept an eye on. Definitely going to check out this album
