AFI’s ‘Crash Love’ Re-Press

Not my favourite but would be it would be pretty sweet to pick up.

 

This is a bootleg, not an official release from the band.

 

All retailers are promoting it as an official release.

 

Hmmm, the admins on the AFI Headquarters FB page are saying it's a boot, interesting.

 

UMG Europe are behind the repress according to the folks at Le Noise Records. I asked their customer service for any additional info they could provide on the release - that’s all they could say.

This record has so many songs that fall flat and a few that with small tweaks should have been as big as ever. One of my first true “what if” records in the scene that left me so disappointed when it came out.

 

End Transmission or Veronica should've been radio singles. Medicate did well but Beautiful Thieves didn't, then the promotion stopped and the album faded away..

 

This album is very much underrated. Not their best but deserves more recognition.

 

Would love to see a Burials repress next
