Like there’s so many cool tricks. It’s like a travelogue. It feels like you're watching a documentary. Performances intercut with snippets of dialogue, performances that flip between what are clearly different recording types within the same song. The way a filmmaker might flip between different camera styles or film. It’s so interesting. just listen to draw a star melt into “orange”. Like wtf, masterful. Immediately feels like the best live album I’ve heard in a long time.
yeah, really love it. love all of nick and josefin's parts, incredible versions of oldest and ruined and many others, orange, the little tape warbles. it's magical and so much better than just a straight concert recording
