I may also be the only one excited for Wheatus, especially if their tour with Titus Andronicus/Eve 6 comes to fruition then, and they both end up here, too.
I don’t think there’s any indication more bands are being announced, is there? That said, I’ll definitely check out Wheatus if they don’t clash with anyone I need to see
For any Hilton Honors members, it's about 40,000 points a night (pretty reasonable) for the Homewood Suites in Egg Harbor, around twenty minutes away.
I missed the little "we also booked hardcore bands" line at the bottom and that got me much more stoked
Luckily I’m only an hour away from AC so if I go I’ll probably just drive back and forth each day. Not ideal but not worth spending a ton of money on a hotel. I’ve done enough gambling where I usually can get comp rooms at Hard Rock but definitely not on memorial day weekend haha
i'm really wondering how they're going to have stages set up and how people are going to get shade there.
Probably similar to warped tour which worked really well imo. Not a ton of shade though but you could go under the pier for shade. And there is the ocean to cool off of course I found this picture online from warped tour for people to get an idea of the layout
Pretty sick lineup, Adjacent is a good name for this. Pretty directly catered to my interests, there's 4 bands here that I would consider in my top 10. Should be a great time!
Do people wear shoes or sandals to a festival on a beach? Or just walk around barefoot? This is all new to me so I’m curious lol
i can see that working. i hope they allow re-entry for people to seek shade/ac in some of the businesses or restraunts nearby
My friends all bought watershoes, I just wore a pair of running shoes but I guess it's preference. I had to pour sand out pretty often. Sandals if you're not getting into a crowd is prob the move, but if you're in a crowd you're getting stepped on
i wore something like these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07499GRR7/?tag=absolutepunk-20 when i went to AC last year
