That’s a good lineup. Wasn’t expecting some of those names on there. Have ticket prices been revealed yet?

I saw $250 for GA 2 day. They’re only doing 2 day passes

Steep price for me considering the exchange rate, but whatever my hotel was free. I’ll be there

Is this in jest, or is this a fact?

Yeah I dunno if I can pull the trigger on bogus $500 VIP tickets. That’s a lot of cash.

Just an example of how WWWY has given a new audience an unrealistic understanding of music festivals....my friend hit me up complaining about this lineup because "I dont recognize any bands on the last two lines" and "why is this two different days instead of one?"

In my head I worked up the idea that this'll be a WWWY copy so I was thrown off at first, but this lineup is pretty sick. The headliners are obviously awesome, plus Jimmy Eat World, Coheed & Cambria, Starting Line, Midtown, Thursday, Andrew McMahon, Pinkshift, Meet Me at the Altar, Beach Bunny and Motion City Soundtrack is as solid an undercard as they come.

  13. That's a really strong lineup. I doubt I'll be able to swing traveling for it, but at least I know I Am the Avalanche is touring so I'll have a chance to see them in Chicago.

For now.....most festivals start out with only 2 day passes in order to boost sales....if sales are slow they'll open up single day passes

This line-up is solid. It's like a more tasteful WWYF with artists that play bigger, more generic festivals sprinkled in that still kinda fit that aesthetic.

Really cool to see and it's nice to see something like this finally back on the east coast. Won't be going this year, I don't think but... I'll be rooting for it to go over well.

EDIT: Riot Fest remains the best "bang for your buck" in terms of festivals in this arena, IMHO.

Vinnie said it without saying it. He said he would be doing a tour for an album that meant a lot to him and a lot of people next year.

Great line up, ok ticket price. Hotel package deals are insane though thanks to it being MDW.

    This lineup is pretty great.

I think I'd rather this one than Bamboozle, regardless of its lineup, because I'd rather be on the beach than Bader Field.

Hotels are about $300-400/night right now. Check in Friday and leaving Mon will run you about $1200 after fees right now. That might be a big deterrent for this fest. I'm sure they'll do quite well selling to the NJ/Philly local crowd though.

Just a comparison, found a hotel (Golden Nugget) for $115/night for WWWY next year, and with flights from NYC ($375 r/t on JetBlue), it's actually cheaper for me to go to WWWY than to go to Atlantic City for the weekend for this fest.

The hotels/casinos along the boardwalk are nice. It’s kind of run down overall, but there’s a charm to it. The beach is nice, will be a cool spot for a fest. There’s some good restaurants and bars in the casinos. Not a whole lot to see beyond the boardwalk and some definitely questionable areas lol

AC now is much better/safer than ten years ago, though I've never had a problem in all my times there. That said, hotels are extremely overpriced every weekend, regardless of a festival happening. If my parents didn't have a place an hour or so away, I wouldn't be considering this.
