was it ever announced as being a multi-year festival? it is possible it was just a one-off weekend thing. atlantic city has done one off concert weekends many, many, many times before. not necessarily to the extent this was but, really could just have been a one and done.
The press release said “first ever” and the survey they sent out asked you to list your most wanted artists for next year
Most of the friends I know who were able to go said it was very crowded, but that they really enjoyed it. Seems very strange to me that they'd just cancel it after one year.
Yeah it seemed to be pretty successful even if they didn’t sell as many tickets as they wanted (don’t know if that’s even true anyway). And the survey they sent after asking what bands people would want to see in the future and claiming this as the “first” one basically confirms they at least wanted to continue it. Whether something happened where it’s not feasible next year who knows. Maybe we’ll hear something soon
Yeah, first day it wasn't super crowded until Paramore went on, and second day wasn't until Coheed went on. I had an amazing time at this, but I'm starting to think the lineup just didn't come together for another year, which is a shame because this was the most fun I've had at a concert this year.
Official website is down. I guess that means it’s over, or they’re preparing a new one? One of the two lol
I think some livenation sites are having tech issues. Some venues in Philly have their pages going to 404 screens rn
It’s no longer on their list of 2024 Live Nation events based on my meeting. I asked about it specifically and was told it’s still being discussed.
You’d think if it was happening next year at this point they’d have most of the details/lineup/etc. figured out. Unless they’re planning on it being later in the year…perhaps Labor Day weekend instead lol
"We picked a bad weekend & this underperformed, let's run that shit back". I'd be so pissed tho, Labor Day would be even worse, it'll be hotter & in hurricane season
Maybe a hot take but I think I liked adjacent better than both years of when we were young. Not necessarily the lineup but I hate the layout and location of wwwy.
