i wonder if they have scaled back expectations or headliners aren’t as big. They expected way more than what they got.
They didn’t draw 70k over 2 days this year, did they? How are they expecting to hit that unless they go even bigger lineup wise?
Considering FOB’s NYC show sold out on their next tour this spring, I think they’ll be a contender to headline Adjacent
The Wonder Years and Goldfinger would've been HUGE gets, but I'm so psyched for the lineup announcement.
you can see FOB on their headline tour for a heck of a lot cheaper than 3 nights hotel in AC + travel. this festival will struggle to get to 35k per day with the hotel prices and limited selection.
Hot off the press today, looks like AC Beer & Music Fest has completely changed their event, I'd have to imagine in some capacity to accommodate Adjacent in May/June (hopefully). TLDR; they've been having this event the week after Memorial Day for almost 20 years, next year they're doing an indoor event in April & an outdoor event in July. My b-day is the week after Memorial Day, I'd love to bank on Adjacent for my b-day every year
Only bands on that slam dunk lineup I would’ve really cared to see here are AAR, Bouncing Souls, and Goldfinger, so all in all I’m not too mad about that announcement lol
Souls, TWY, Goldfinger, Interrupters, AAR, LD and OSC woulda probably automatically made me have to go. I feel like it won't be the same weekend though
The Slam Dunk lineup also announces in chunks, so that's probably going to be maybe 30-40% of the final lineup
@marceting or anyone, is this actually happening? If it is, I figured Green Day would be headlining, but that seems unlikely at this point
