Was there any final numbers on turnout/ticket sales? Seemed to do well but just curious how well it actually did and if it was close to selling out or anything
If that's true, that's a not great. Paramore and Blink on their own headlining tours are doing 15-20k a night.
Memorial Day was perfect for me since I didn’t have to take any PTO or anything, so I’ll be kinda bummed if they move it cus it’ll most likely kill my chances of going again
I wouldn’t go again if it was Memorial Day weekend but would on a different weekend. Memorial Day weekend is just too big of a weekend to pick in the tri state area with all the beach towns
Memorial Day weekend just never really made a ton of sense to me. People are going to go to Atlantic City and fill up the beaches, hotels, casinos, etc. that weekend no matter what. Better off picking a quieter weekend to bring in some more revenue for the city
Memorial day weekend wasn’t a negative for me personally given that my hotel was comped because of casino status, but I recognize that’s not the reality for the overwhelming majority of people attending the fest. I did kinda like it being that weekend though given how much more alive the boardwalk felt compared to a normal weekend in AC
If they're gonna do another weekend, I'd personally prefer it be earlier. I'd rather not be able to swim & have a better chance of "good" weather vs it being in late June & it be crazy hot
I’m hoping a few of those bands that were booked for Bamboozle pop up on this next year. Scowl, Angel Du$t, Mindforce, etc. Bizkit would be a ton of fun too but I don’t think that’s the direction they’re going for lol
Who are some bands from the general area that might be likely for next year? Seemed like a focus this year with Midtown, TSL, The Movielife, IATA, Incendiary, Thursday, Coheed, etc. TBS and Bayside immediately come to mind
Have it on good authority this festival is happening again in 2024 and that they're aiming for 70k attendees over two days.
