Yeah walking in the sand basically doubles your time

 

At Warped AC they had a lot of composite-type material laid down that you could walk on too instead of the sand

 

It's funny, I went to see Gaslight Anthem at RBC Echo Beach in Toronto last year and kind of loved the sand? Low impact and wasn't that hard to navigate, it's part of the reason I'm excited for it tbh

 

I like the sand for being low impact but it definitely takes longer to get around on
