I logged into my Ticketmaster account 2 minutes before on sale, joined the waiting room, moved through about 1,600 people on queue and got an early bird. Also by default Ticketmaster kept adding two to my cart, kind of whack.
Telling me the GA isn’t available now. I was on the website 3 hours early and just got through the queue now. I’m so fucking angry right now
I got in, added an early bird pass to my cart, brought me to the payment screen, and then just randomly refreshed and said "ticket no longer available." Shit.
Just from my experience with Riot Fest and WWWY in the last two years, I'm gonna hold out hope that I can get a ticket for this on stubhub in the spring for that $250 early bird price. I really dont wanna pay 350 on the regular on sale.
I fucked up and got on late and I've been refreshing for almost an hour. I had two GA tickets in my cart and, like an idiot, I didn't get them because I only needed one. If anyone has an extra GA or VIP they need to unload, hit me up.
WWWYF was the first festival I've been to since 2005 warped tour. Maybe it's due to the stress of the weather all week, the canceling of saturday, changing plans for attending Sunday, a longer wknd than originally planned, and a slightly more difficult time getting home - I'm not sure I could do another festival for a couple years - or ever.
Fees were right at $40 today, and with the price increase, the total is gonna be right around $415 per ticket tomorrow. That times 2, and a $500 Airbnb for 2 nights, that's over $1300 before travel/food/drinks/etc... I'm def not buying tomorrow, now I'm debating whether I hold the Airbnb & hope for cheap tickets a few days before or just throw in the towel now
These day fests in cities are becoming too expensive if you have to travel for it. I’m gonna pass on this and just grab a ticket to Bonnaroo again, they’re like $400 but includes camping/parking for 5 days and 4.5 days of music.
That map seems fair. Agreed. As long as vip doesn't take up entire stage then whatever. Still a ridiculous concept
Again, I know this is a risky move, but I might just wait until a couple of months out from the festival to get a ticket. Shit happens, plans fall through, and I have a feeling there'll be people trying to unload their tickets as it gets closer.
Since things have opened up from COVID, the only tours I’ve seen keep their value in resale are legit only Harry Styles and Bad Bunny. If WWWY is anything to go off these tickets will definitely get cheaper.
My Chem back in August I bought on regular on sale for $100 each, day of show they were going for $40. The Maine last month I bought on regular on sale for $55, day of show they were going for $18. Coheed & Alkaline Trio I thankfully waited till day of and grabbed each ticket for $40, while the regular on sale was $80. I'm learning my lesson lol
I think I’m gonna have to pass on GA tomorrow and hope I can get something cheaper closer to the date. I’ve already got my hotel and booked and I’m making a trip out of it regardless, but tomorrow’s price + fees and the exchange rate for me it’s like $570 CAD. I just can’t justify that at all
I had a $856 VIP+ ticket in my cart this morning and I'm still really happy I didn't pull the trigger.
