The Mother, The Mechanic, and The Path. By far. He's also my favorite songwriter, and I love most of his work.
Ace Enders - The Secret Wars I Can Make a Mess - The World We Know The Early November - The Room's Too Cold Too hard to pick one out of all his stuff. Love Ace!
The Room's Too Cold is my favorite Ace related work. Exchanging two hundred and The Course of Human Life are two of my favorite songs, ever.
I honestly should've figured as much. As far as his solo material goes, it's a toss up between the first two ICMAM albums.
Yeah his debut was pretty incredible. I actually haven't listened to that record in forever. I need to change that.
Enola is definitely my most listened to Ace release since 2013. I really like all of the Mess releases up to that one, and like most TEN material. Million People does nothing for me.
I think Ace Enders & A Million Different Peopoe might be my favorite Ace related project. And even though I adore The Early November, I only really like some of it, while also not being able to get into a lot of it.
I loved the Million Different People stuff when it was released, but it's really lost steam for me over the years. I have to give Make a Mess material another shot though.
The World We Know is incredible. Maybe a little bit of a grower but it's great. I also really like Gold Rush for a happier/springier sound.
I'll start with TWWK. I remember loving Old Man but nothing else stuck with me. Gonna give it a shot this evening.
Caption says "Essentials for wrapping a record". Knowing Ace, we can probably expect a release in the next month or two!
You sure? I see the post of the drummer from a band called Grayscale, but other than that it seems to be personal photos, shows, and videos of Ace playing bass with captions like "coolest songs I've ever made"
3 photos in a row. 1) Grayscale's drummer 2) bass for Grayscale 3) wrapping a record, Grayscale tagged in the photo.
Ah, didn't read the full caption on the take the kids to work day photo, or see the tag in the most recent one. My bad!
I'm a fan of the diversity in his work with I Can Make A Mess - I enjoyed all of Gold Rush, Enola and Growing In, but I think aside from "Waiting Room" off of #Hiraeth, this is his best track. That guitar work in the bridge would make Mike Kinsella salivate.
