You beat me to it! I don't think I can pass up seeing this at Beat Kitchen. Now I don't feel as bad about missing Vinnie's headlining tour.
I'm planning to attend this show on Tuesday. The setlist that Ace Enders plays is well worth the price of admission. I've seen The Early November a couple of times, and they've never played more than 30~ minutes at a show I've seen, so it's going to be really awesome to see Ace play a ton of his jams.
To give you guys more details about this - Ace basically let the crowd pick a bunch of the songs he played. He just would ask what people wanted to hear and play songs based off of that. It was really cool to see. It's also worth noting that it seemed like the crowd was very Ace heavy, and I'm pretty sure Ace had the longest set. Aaron played his entire new LP, not in order, but that was his set. Nothing added. There was no Free Fallin' or Too Bright To See, Too Loud To Hear... it was simply his current LP. I can't comment on Vinnie's set, but he did say the Movielife was likely to do some things in 2017, and he played some songs from both I Am The Avalanche + The Movielife, as well as his solo stuff. He also told us a story of the time he got fucked up with Lady Gaga, and it was pretty awesome to hear that Lady Gaga has listened to I Am The Avalanche.
Vince was hilarious, and every songs sounded great. Got there a little late but I caught Hey, Clean Up, This One's On Me, and then two songs from the new record. Aaron was alright. He has a real hard time singing some of the older stuff haha. He also spits a ton and tries to jam as many curse words into his sentences as possible to the point of almost awkwardness haha. He played two songs from Chasing Safety, two from Southern Air, a U2 cover, and then like 5-6 songs from the new record. Ace was fantastic, nothing out of the norm to report. Just always performs so well. This isn't in order and there might have been more but I can't really remember. Take it with a grain of salt of future set lists because most of these were requests haha. A Stain On The Carpet Sunday Drive Baby Blue Boxing Timelines Old Man..............
