This is so gross and unacceptable. I haven't logged on here since end of last week, but I did see your story come up over the weekend and I just want to say a) thank you for sharing your story and being so articulate in everything since and b) I am so so sorry this happened to you. What a goddamn travesty this band (and their fanbase) continues to be.

 

Definitely, and part of what I was trying to get across when Jason was discussing how to handle news about them, and I probably did a poor job, is that they're kinda in a vulnerable state and looking for credibility and foundation to stand on as they build this comeback. So I'm very happy where he ended up where not only is Chorus.FM not providing them the credibility of treating their announcements like news, but that it's a place where victims can come forward and share their story. I was really frustrated with that conversation initially but now with hindsight get he/everyone was actively working through how to handle things, which was a worthwhile lesson to me.

Your article helped push me over the fence from not knowing how to feel about them coming back to being anti-this return. Thank you for writing what you wrote and putting yourself in a vulnerable place to put a light on Jesse's actions.

 

I am late to all these developments and have nothing of value to add to the conversation, but feel compelled to just say how incredible it is to read through the discussion with Aiyana and all the encouragement given to her. Seeing a number of people come forward to say "hey, this is what it took for me" in real time is really moving.

Her story is harrowing and horrific but I'm so glad she shared it and that so many people are taking it seriously.
