Lol ya you would think. My guess is dmb doesn’t actually handle their social media so that’s on their pr. I think by removing him immediately it sends a good message that they arnt going to stand for that.

Well apparently they didn’t know about this. There was rumors that the reason he wasn’t on the tour was actually drug related. This is just another thing.

 

Can someone tell me what is the deal with Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy? My friend was telling me there is this "known secret" that he was dating a 15 year old when he was in his 20s and the girl is the subject of Take This To Your Grave. Anyone know anything about this?

You can look up Jeanae White and find a ton of posts/blogs/forums about it. There’s been mention of it on here quite a few times too but I don’t know if it’s findable by search. That whole story is a mess of misinformation and confusion though. They definitely dated and there was definitely a large age gap/toxic aspect to their relationship for both of them, but she was not the subject of TTTYG and her actual age when they met is unclear. She has said multiple times that she was of age and that she would like everyone to stop speculating about her life, so it’s very much a grey area to try to find anything out now.

Now there were also some comments during the Jesse Lacey/Brian Diaz post that mentioned Pete and Andy messing with underage fans, but to my knowledge nothing has come of that at all beyond those initial secondhand comments.

 

Take anon comments how u will but when ONTD posted about Pete's new child recently, someone commented that Pete dated/messed around with their friend when they were like 14/15 and he was obv older

I have tickets to see them in October and I loved the new album but it's kinda getting to the point where all the mish mash of info out there is making me too uncomfortable. I love Patrick and he's pretty much why I still see it for the band, but like idek

 

Lots of stuff here isn’t actually factual. I spoke with Jeanae quite a few years back now. I’ve also confirmed her birthday via outside sources. People have her age wrong and when they started dating. She was born in '87 and she and Pete, from everything I've been able to track down, started dating around late 2004, early 2005. (If anyone sees something else, lemme know.)

Still a very toxic and very bad relationship, but there's been so much misinformation out there.

TTTYG was not about her. Those lyrics are still so gross.

 

Yeah I always take Tumblr with a grain of salt but as you know it's often the only available source

 

Can someone explain the toxicity of TTYG? I always thought the lyrics were just spiteful and angsty.
