it hurts a little to see James Blake and 070 Shake still team up with him (although i know Shake is still signed to his label, but i wish she'd cut ties)

 

I fundamentally don’t understand how he functions, like…he seems so far gone I would not trust Kanye to drive a car or operate a microwave.

Eh, anytime he brings up Swift since then has been much worse. Would have been great if he actually sought help after that meltdown on the Saint Pablo tour after Kim was robbed. Looking back on his personality and M. O., though, I don't know if there was ever a chance that it wasn't going to end this way.

Pretty sure Ty cut ties (obviously way too late). I also meant more so the non-musical creatives and employees that are still rocking with him for the money.

Rumor going around that Grouplove is opening for BN. Makes sense because Ben Homala was Brian's drum tech/BNs second live drummer back in the day. And apparently 2 Grouplove members have a side project that opened Jesses solo show

 

Very funny for a band that takes themselves so seriously to have to go out on tour with KidsBop. I do have a sinking feeling that there are some heavy hitters that'd say yes to open too.

 

The side project band is Homola and Dan Gleason, who was in several Manchester Orchestra adjacent bands throughout the years before also joining grouplove, and then the singer from gasoline heart.

They opened the BN shows too from what I’ve seen, I would be shocked if it’s not them on the rest of these shows.

 

I might just be cynical, but I think the list of bands who would say yes to opening is longer than the list of bands who would say no.

 

i also don’t think they’re going to take on a tour of venues this size a band that’s a side project of friends that no one has heard of. group love would make more sense than summer rental or whatever the fuck it’s called

Yes, he has production credit for a song they worked on before the Nazi stuff started up. He most definitely does not work with him now though.

I’d be shocked if anyone with any cred does now.

 

James has production credits on the visual album that came out last week. It was probably made a while ago, but I would hope he has denounced it's usage... but I don't know

 

he still follows him on Instagram, but i don't know if that's a good metric

 

Again, being a cynic, I think you all would be surprised how many people will still work with/associate with Kanye.
