Is worth a call out that they are AGGRESSIVELY advertising, specifically with a re-targeting strategy so if you go to their site or engage with their content in anyway you're feeds are going to be littered with Brand New content. Just as an FYI.

John // OC now, OH forever.

I’ve seen the same AEG ad at least a dozen times on Twitter over the last day or two. It’s everywhere.

Crazy spend. Prob catching additional momentum based off the negative attention they're generating.

Let's all raise our glasses to Rochester, they don't seem to be rushing to support a creep like some other cities:

I was contemplating scalping for the Pittsburgh show to make some money off them myself. I logged on 2 minutes late and after waiting there was nothing left. Damn, Pittsburgh.

I thought a lot of the venues they are playing seem way too big for them play. I feel like all the arenas are gonna sell poorly, but maybe I’m underestimating their popularity prior to disbanding and the amount of people that stuck with them after all this.

Absolutely are, if the allegations didn't happen these shows would sell out fast lol

Yeah I can't gauge the demand at all. When MCR reunited and did arenas (and now stadiums), it made sense because not only were they very popular at the time of disbanding, but also the younger generations really embraced them and look at them as their "classic rock." But I don't think BN had that generation spanning impact. I have friends who are high school teachers and they say all their students love MCR, Blink and Paramore, but most students havent even heard of BN.

I know there is a die hard fan base that stuck by their side through the controversy, but I still think that a majority of these ticket purchasers are in the "hey I listened to that band in high school!" camp, and probably never even heard a single song off of like Daisy/SF let alone know about allegations.

I’m not going to post it in here but the Kanye album cover………… is insane stuff

Anyway my very late .02 is very similar to what I've said in the politics thread before, in that I don't think it's the worst thing in the world to initially approach these people with patience. Like I don't think that means you have to be "nice" to them, just that you can lay out why they're wrong/why this isn't hte place to positively discuss anything Lacey/BN are doing, etc without all the piling on and attacking and etc. If they're still arguing/not getting it after a couple of earnest posts, then ban them because they're obviously not going to get it and aren't adding anything positive.

But I get that the patience can be worn thin because the same discussion has happened with a few dozen other accounts over the years so people get sick of it.

terrible, but on brand these days... I can't imagine this album does well, it feels like no one is really paying attention anymore (a good thing, of course)

Apparently he also released a new album last month? I literally havent heard a single word said about it. Saw the artwork for this upcoming album, and fucking YIKES. He'll do anything for a headline.

Agree with this. No one is saying be nicer, I just think everyone gets so trigger happy with their lame ass dunks that they're friendly firing/misunderstanding people's points who actually agree with them, and it leads to a lot of people being driven away from a site that should be an informative place.

  20. Kanye is losing an unbelievable amount of steam, which is pretty heartening (and depressing) to see. Him doing an interview with DJ Akademiks in a black klan outfit is literally just the Onion article about Marilyn Manson going door to door to shock people. Even most of his subreddits are done with him

A few years ago I got frustrated over the direction this thread was going at the time & mentioned it (I could have done so MUCH more eloquently & constructively, @Crisp X you addressed your concerns very well), & then left for a while. At some point I started coming back, because this thread really is a great resource/community & works as it's intended way more often than not, & now I read it every day again. Sure trolls sneak in & shit gets out of hand sometimes, and BN will never cease to be a recurring topic... but I wanted to say thanks to everyone in here trying to keep this thread a positive environment with difficult subjects, & also thanks to the mods for doing their best while being open to criticism to keep this community constructive

I'm really not following much, but I guess last month it was like, a visual album only released on youtube or something. Either way, no one seemed to care

  23. From what I've read, the music is virtually entirely reference artists with an AI Kanye filter over their voice, so I really don't think there's anything left for fans to grasp onto. Dude made a handful of genre-changing albums, decided to become a vocal nazi, and stopped caring about any of the slop he put out AT LEAST seven years ago. None of his beats have drums anymore, so there isn't even production to root for lmao. Dude is a husk of the person and artist he once was. I feel terrible for his family.
