I am not going to pretend that Brand New weren't my favorite band for years in HS/college. But I'll be god damned if I ever give those dickheads one more penny of my money. Both these things can be true.

At some point last Fall, I was taking my 16 year old daughter somewhere, and she was controlling the music. She put this playlist she'd made on and Quiet Things... came on and my heart kind of sunk a little. She was like "I love this song" and I'm just kind of sitting there stewing a little. Oh my god. She has no idea. Of course she has no idea. Why would she? I was trying to figure out whether to tell her the story and potentially discourage her from discovering music she enjoys or to remain quiet. That was a really weird moment for me. A topic you don't expect to have to address with your kid.

They did - Summer Rental, who supported at the solo Nashville show, done all 3 dates.

 

They’re opening for Incubus this summer, so very doubtful

 

Cleveland turned off comments...they're also playing a way smaller venue this time around than when they toured here last in 2016, when they played Wolstein Center which is anywhere from 12K-15K depending on the set-up.
