Anyway will not post in here about that band anymore, they're victory lapping, they're human shit, will not see them, will not change anyone's mind, it's pointless to talk about them anymore

 

I just realized that makes it sound like we all have 1 collective ass and I promise we do not

 

Collective Ass is my favorite mid-90s post-grunge band.

 

The way I see it, I think any new music will be released under "Human Surfers" (since half of the band isn't in it) and "Brand New" will just tour the old stuff.

What is with the mental gymnastics with this band? Why would they release music under a different name than they're touring under? The name that makes them money... They're simply back. Jesus christ lol

 

he's not gonna do that because it puts him in a position of culpability. they're gonna say nothing and donate nothing like the cowards they are and rely on the worst people in the world to hype up their comeback to an unsuspecting general public.

Also let's be clear that the band never made a statement to begin with. They're cowards and hid just like the predator did and they're still by his side staying quiet.

 

Just the fact that Vin and Garrett weren't a part of Jesse's show last night. I don't think they had any hand in writing these new songs and it feels like the beginning of a new project, Science Fiction felt so final in terms of recorded music. Why would there be three non-Brand New musicians (including the Colour Revolt guy) instead of just the full band?

I doubt we're getting an additional statement from them, but announcing the donation of proceeds to a women's charity would probably be the best realistic thing they would do.

Because it was Jesse Lacey show and not a Brand New show. It's really not that deep. And they never made a statement, so "additional" isn't possible. And they're not going to admit guilt. What are you even talking about?

Jesse made his "apology" in 2017 as the first statement, is what I meant. Obviously they're not going to admit guilt. I don't think donating a portion of tour proceeds to charity would be an admission of guilt, they did that in the Science Fiction liner notes even before the news broke. It would just be *something* they could do to alleviate the bad feel of it all.

 

Yeah that's not a statement from the band and doing something like that would imply guilt. And it also doesn't alleviate shit.
