I'm not defending Jay-z dating a young Beyonce, but do you ever think about how many married couples our parents ages did the exact same thing? I try not to, times were... different, but whoof

 

I was listening to Pharrell’s album and it has a song called “Young Girl,” all about falling in love with a young girl featuring a verse by Jay-Z and it’s just yeeeeesh. This was so normalized.

 

rock and rap were rampant with songs like that, either explicitly or slightly more sly, there's been more than a few times where I'm listening to something from the 80s or 90s, probably 00s, and I quickly side eye something I never noticed before

I haven't been following this too closely as I'm not a huge Amity guy, but from what I've seen reported over the past few months, it appears as if Ahren's mental health has gone off a cliff and rather than seek help, he's progressively lost his grip on reality and the band have been collateral damage.

ahren has completely unraveled and lost himself to the depths of addiction, and is taking it out on the band unfortunately yeah. hes been hurling a lot of nasty shit including insinuating that joel is stealing from the band. from what i can gather this is very much a mark o'connell situation where the band tried to handle everything as privately as possible out of his respect until he himself made it impossible for them to keep doing that

So Ronnie Radke has accused Brent Woods (Wildside, ex-Sebastian Bach live band) of being a pedo and also accused Sebastian Bach and Eddie Trunk of knowing and not caring about it on social media. One of Brent Woods' victims (Lexii Lynn Frazier) has corroborated this information herself.

Fuck this Brent Woods guy as well as Trunk and Bach for being complicit, but this is definitely a "worst person you know made a good point" situation.

I worked as Brent’s guitar tech for a one off. I drove with the drummer and tour manager from la to Salt Lake and Brent and Lexii flew with the vocalist. This was the first and only time I met Lexii, she was filling in on second guitar. The entire day I was told that she was “too high” and missed sound check because he was feeding her drugs. Before the show I went to get them from the hotel room and he came to the door naked while she was passed out in bed. All these guys laughed about it and how Brent convinced her mom because he was her mentor and other disturbing things I can’t type. I hope this dude finally gets what he deserves.
