I’m pretty sure I’d like them if I listened to them because of who they tour with, but whenever I see tweets from him…it’s a no from me.

 

His initial comment was to basically saying that we should beat the shit out of anyone doing Cocaine. He’s such a fucking dipshit.

 

I’ve unfortunately seen them live twice and it’s bad music.

I fucking hate that band. Never listened to any of their music, but whoever tweets from their account is so beyond cringe and such a piece of shit after what I saw then say about addicts

 

It’s the lead singer Eric. He’s a huge piece of garbage thats always shit posting his dumb ass opinions/joeks.

I've only ever heard of that band in this thread, which isn't a great sign

 

They are not the biggest band in the scene or anything but they have been on some pretty big tours in the emo/pop punk scene. Having said that, if people know you more for the dumbass shit you post (see: For Your Health) than the actual music you might want to take a step back and reflect on your behavior and think about how not every thought in your head needs to be posted on social media.

 

I am genuinely just asking, what about his initial tweet was specifically offensive and why? I am not trying to act intentionally dense, I am trying to better understand the situation, and I am not condoning or agreeing with anything he said.

 

Because people dealing with addiction don’t automatically deserve to “get their shit stomped” simply because they struggle with drugs.

Also, this is a guy that constantly brags about his guns. Like, maybe you should see what negative effect guns and its manufacturers have on society before getting on your high horse.
