That's Whitney from Days N Daze right? I remember reading about physical abuse being a reason Nico left Star Fucking Hipsters as well.

Since it is also related to Accountability, apparently PunkNews.org did a retrospective on Leftover Crack and is sponsoring the SFH tour, and people are calling them out in the comments. Wondering why the site is very conveniently ignoring the well known history of abuse.

 

PunkNews's own John G is an absolute trash bag. The guy goes to bat for some of the worst people in the music industry because he enjoys their work. Less egregious but still really shitty, he was selling that early Against Me! demo for hundreds of dollars, which... yeah. The people on there have been calling that place (and John Gentile's behavior) out for years.

 

fuck dr. luke. so gross to see industry power and influence line up behind his attempts at reputation rehab. im sure this effort has nothing to do with kesha winning back her right to reveal terms of her contract with dr luke and sony last month

 

there are artists I like that still work with him and that's been frustrating. doesn't seem like accountability applies to these people.

This is also the band who was just on tour with Tiny Moving Parts and never responded when I asked them on Twitter about why they are touring with TMP. They sure love hanging out with sexual abusers I guess.
