Missed the 'you forgot one' response but still agree with the tweet that says women may not feel comfortable telling an ex-intimate partner that they were comfortable or not.

Yeah it’s definitely gone. I’m glad someone commented directly about that not being the best way to get a truthful answer. Knowing that someone else who actually has had a relationship with him commented about being left out really doesn’t sit well either.

 

Yeah that is his ex. Someone said Cam just deleted his Facebook after getting a few negative comments but I can’t confirm that since I don’t have one.

 

i'm friends with cam on facebook, and I just tried searching for him and nothing came up.

 

To be fair, regardless of if it was true or not, I would have deleted my facebook until it clears up if I was him too

 

reaching out to your past partners may not be a perfect solution but it's more than most would do, so I applaud that becoming public. I say that because I would genuinely love and feel validated if past partners who played fast and loose with consent gave me a chance to tell them now, however long after.

 

He didn't say ALL previous intimate partners. He just said previous intimate partners. Who knows? There may be some that he doesn't remember or doesn't even have contact information for. And one person (which this site said was his Ex-GF) tweeted 'you forgot one' so I highly doubt he talked to ALL previous intimate partners. And to say 'following those dialogues I can confirm these accusations are baseless' is just really, really weird. So because he talked to one intimate partner, another intimate partner's accusations are baseless?

 

Yeah I understand his intent but that's not really a valid way to squash all of the rumors. Idk how to feel about it.

 

yup. i do not believe he actually talked to all of these people.

 

yeah to be clear I'm not commenting on him/his actions specifically (idek who he is), just on the idea of the action itself, in theory.

 

That same ex girlfriend went on a fairly heavy subtweeting spree after deleting the tweet. I believe she ended up deleting most of those as well, besides one that says “bad men are fuckin bad sorry”

I’ve heard from multiple people this was largely an open secret (not this particular instance but him having questionable behavior), and it made my blood boil.

 

Nicole still is a piece of shit, this person definitely didn’t want this out there but their hands felt tied due to the publicity. See “friend” in quotes regarding Nicole.

I feel horrible for this girl

 

Really brave for coming out and telling the story now despite no interest in doing so and having no say in how it happened. It at least clears some of it up in her own voice and allows something to be done. Really terrible to be put in that position at all but she seems to be handling it in the best way.

I’m getting really sick of how often people appear to be trying to take narrative control away from victims these days (see also: Pinegrove)
