I’d love to do a gen with all new Pokémon, none returning from old games. But then after you beat the game the full dex is available with all the Pokémon.

Gold silver always seemed like the best to me because it had two full regions, it was a brand new thing that celebrated the Passat so well.

This just seems like half measures all around.

This. No matter what, at the end of the day, the label breached their contract. There’s really nothing to justify that.

 

If I'm an indie artist, like regardless of my level of success, and my label is refusing to provide me with royalty statements and refusing to pay me the money I'm owed under my contract, I'm pissed. There's no excuse for it, none whatsoever. That money should not be going to other things, that's my goddamn money. I don't care how mismanaged the label is, I don't care what the owners' motivations are, I don't care about any of that. My royalties were never their money to use in the first place.

$8,000 is a lot of money to have withheld from you. And yeah that money was eventually paid but it sounds like AM now is in a position where they don't even know exactly how much money they're currently owed because they don't have up-to-date royalties statements. Screw that. No sympathy for TE, the artists always come first.

But really, you're describing Gen V, which everyone hated, so I don't think your view is very coherent with gamefreak's conception of what people like
