Being open encourages others to be open, which backs them up, which can lead to action and violence and organized groups. Even if people were always thinking horrible shit, people openly expressing horrible shit has a greater negative impact on the world.

What does “deserving of death” even mean to people? Absolutely he was. If not this piece of shit, realistically who?

The only argument is that no one deserves to be killed, radical empathy, all life has value, etc. etc. Its hard to practice with some of the depravity in reality.

  7. A Neck Deep member tweeted out in support of xxx? (If this is the case I’m not surprised)

I’ve seen a few tweets about it but can’t actually find whoever’s twitter it is. Apparently Pat from Movements as well but he deleted it

Honestly considering cancelling Spotify for Apple Music. It’s one thing to spinelessly roll back editorial coverage of abusers, but imagine doing that and then CELEBRATING the poster boy of all abusers popular on your service. Goddamn. How are victims supposed to feel safe and supported anywhere when everyone is looking to excuse and canonize their abusers?
