there has always been plenty pointing to jack grooming minors to sleep with once they turned 18 and those victims protecting him by not posting about it because they view it as consensual groupie behavior while the girls his grooming tactics didn’t work on openly talked about about all the ways he made them feel uncomfortable at meet and greets when they were minors but that doesn't matter because "nothing happened"

Fucking hell. Gutting. As much as I've loved Laura's music down the years, Paris also deserves to feel safe.

 

This whole thing is really hard to read.

 

Yeah, it’s not an excuse but I’m not surprised in the least. It comes across almost like a psychotic break for Laura but that’s also not an excuse.

 

And man, I was just at that show last night. Nothing felt off.

 

Reading Laura’s book gave a pretty good insight into her mental health and her history of struggles there. Hoping there’s a peaceful resolution there.

 

Not saying it’s a one to one or indicative of whatever is going on, but it does remind me of when Laura opened up for Jimmy Eat World here, there was trouble with the monitors and she kept yelling at the sound guy. Eventually, she just took the microphone stand, bashed away at the monitor and cut the whole set short.

She later apologized and did an acoustic set either in the lobby or outside.

 

definitely upsetting to see and read all this. hoping laura gets some help and that the public airing of some of their struggles doesnt lead to more issues for paris. hoping for some sort of peaceful outcome here.
