I was curious to see how it was doing and honestly surprised it's selling as well as it is. I mean, still not great and not as bad as the Utah date, but I would've expected way more blue dots.

I met a guy from Long Island yesterday and we started talking about music. He brought up BN and said “why tf are they going on tour?” He seemed pretty upset about it and then started mentioning details of Aiyana’s story. He seemed like a normie who was not that involved in online “discourse” so maybe this story really is gaining traction irl.

Also, I looked at the Charlotte show again and the tickets still aren’t selling that well. But then I looked at other shows at that venue and many of them aren’t either. Maybe it’s indicative of a larger trend with live music. But I also don’t think you can say that there aren’t some people who have been turned off by how this “comeback” has been handled.

  3. That spike is the article I posted on Chorus.

And then it started getting picked up everywhere else. It definitely is getting out there.

I just opened FB and instead of an AI generated image of a sad soldier the first thing I saw was a link to an article about the allegations. That’s something.

    Someday I’ll find me Prestigious

I sent the article to every person I know who might even be vaguely curious about their comeback.

“Look at these fucking pictures and tell me he’s not a creep? Read this article and tell me he’s “restored” and free to play shows again.”

  6. i also sent it to everyone. the photos made me feel so disgusted.

I didn’t send it to anyone, but I posted it on my Facebook and it lead to a few conversations, at least.

Don't worry, I've sent it to many, many people with platforms.

Partner of a good friend works in some capacity for AEG, he said one of the AEG buyers he works with told him that Mission Ballroom specifically is getting A LOT of emails from people saying that they shouldn't tour

I have never gotten as many ads from AEG as I’m getting now.

I just got a notification that the FB post I made a week ago linking to Aiyana’s story was removed. And the reason was that it was spam. It had been up for a week. (Would it really take that long for something to be determined “spam”?)

I assume someone is reporting the Medium link as spam in general? I appealed the decision, but this has never happened to me before. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but idk.

IMG_9827.jpeg I did not get a notification, but the above post made me go check. This is what shows up now where the article was.

    Which doesn’t make sense.

I actually work in comms/pr, but thankfully have not been asked to do anything this skeevy. I wonder if they have a crisis comms firm or it’s just whoever is managing the social ad campaigns is running their overall digital strategy.

I noticed that the link changed to that on Wednesday or so. But I’ve never had a post removed before.

Attempting to quash criticism just makes them look even worse, but go off.

Not sure you could look more guilty, strategic and spineless than being completely silent for a week, but go off I guess!

Facebook (and Meta in general) is notorious for over-aggressively filtering links, especially from platforms like Medium, when they start getting traction around sensitive topics. I’d be willing to bet that’s the issue but possible it’s fans mass-reporting as spam

@Jason Tate @aiyana91 - Does it make sense to host a copy of the article directly on Chorus if the medium link is being flagged as spam?

  21. Or could link to my article that links to it. Wonder if a url shortener would work too?

    Go crazy!

There’s real movement happening around accessing my old LiveJournals (the ones that might still contain direct evidence). Now would be the time for him to publicly respond with honesty and accountability. Or brace himself for what happens when the full truth is undeniable.
