I don't have an issue with that, actually, but you can't expect someone to simply know that. Clearly if someone hasn't had an issue before, they have no reason to expect anything different elsewhere unless they're made aware. It's also the blanket statement that gets me too; like who determines what is and isn't acceptable for an entire genre of music?
I'm just confused on how some of you can't read a concert room and know if it's appropriate behavior for the outing / a fun time. Like, hating on a bunch of people rowing when that's literally a thing at that show, and everyone participating is having a blast is just weird. Figure out when things aren't for you, and separate yourself from it and let others enjoy it? Even if you think it's cringe / lame / annoying or whatever. I went to see a funky jam band and they did some really lame hand waving / dance stuff I wasn't into, but that's what I signed up for. I half assed it, and had a blast during the rest of the set. I didn't leave going 'OMG - those fans are soooo lame for all enjoying something I don't'. Anyway, I think the banana costume talk is stale enough, it's ready for bread. But some real curmudgeons in here it seems...
Last thing on the banana thing and I'll leave it alone: End It was playing second on a four band bill. It wasn't even their show to throw a tantrum over.
They didn’t wait until the headliners to make a statement about the banana man. Oh the lack of decorum how dare they. Shut up lol cry me a river.
many musicians would say second out of four is the best slot but that, again, is a different conversation entirely.
the way banana guy is looking at the camera makes me wonder if there's only one banana guy lost in time. how could you know to look at the camera like that
At Front Bottoms a guy was in a Garfield costume and Brian asked for the Garfield hat and wore it during a song.
It is obvious bait at this point to be like "how could he have known it might be a problem if no one has told him that his incredibly distracting and out of place banana costume was a problem before at social events" and I am begging anyone who wants to keep talking about this to just PM Pen at this point
