How do 99% of bands bungle these statements so badly? Either by words, tone, or both? It seems like such a low bar to clear. They could have gotten in front of the “lack of transparency” by simply saying “We have been made aware of [allegations] and are figuring out a path forward. Please don’t mistake our silence for inaction” or something along those lines.
Also "stepping away from the band" is not inherently being kicked out, could very well pull a Dance Gavin Dance
