Idk if its been discussed on this site or not and certainly on the lower end of importance for accountability but hearing and seeing a lot of fans unhappy with the Timberlake tour and how he’s seemingly not singing most of the time and kind of just bobbing around on stage while the crowd sings 95% of the songs. I’m sure the tickets aren’t cheap for his shows and a lot of people travel to it which adds to the expense. While I’m sure it would be impossible to try and get refund because he technically was there and was “performing”, I wonder at what point does a concert not count as a concert and if there are any hard and fast rules to what “counts” as a concert vs feeling like you’ve been ripped off. Kind of feels like concerts are something that is just an inherent risk - if someone is drunk or crabby or performs like shit it is what it is and you’re out that money but certainly sucks for everyone there.
That’s not the point I was making at all. The complaints from people are that he’s not singing during his shows. He sets down the mic at times, says one or two words while dancing while the crowd does the singing. I would be unhappy if I had that experience at a show and curious if others feel like an artist is obligated to put in a certain amount of effort for a show.
I feel like that’s better reserved for the specific artist thread or tour forum. Unless a problematic artist is getting back to performing or an artist is directly hurting its audience, either physically or verbally, at live shows, I don’t think that kind of accountability belongs in here.
You hurt my feelings with your swear word directed at me. That's not very nice. I hope one day you feel ok without having to swear at other people on the internet. All the best and good luck.
