IMO, these kinds of spectacles feel so calculated now that it’s hard to even view them as shocking. The goal is clearly to piss people off because there’s literally no other reason to do it.

Not surprised at all. The recent FB posts from Handguns have been pretty odd. Looks like they booked a 5 month tour going anywhere/everywhere from Jan 1st-End of May, but it’s been very poorly planned and dude looks like he is on drugs from the pictures he’s posted.
Pretty much. Looks like he is just begging for any help he can get and he doesn’t look well in the pictures he is posting. He bought a box truck and just traveling the country by himself trying to get any gig he can. Super weird.
My issue with the Nick Diener statement is that he already gave one back in October that only came about because one of his victims spoke up after they’d announced shows. There are numerous victims, some of whom were underage, who had to come forward to get Nick to say anything about things that happened over the last ten years. He had plenty of time to speak up and chose not to until someone else went first. I have a hard time believing he’d have said ANYTHING if they hadn’t first which leads me to think this statement is just self serving piling on to what he already admitted to months ago. FWIW, Jen had a post up essentially calling him a liar and that he was just doing this to make him feel better while not really doing much to make amends to his victims or worrying about how they feel.
Nick Diener has at least one of his accusers/victims blocked, which shows how little he cares about being held accountable. The feelings of victims and how he has treated them is far more important than flowery language about moving forward and having taken accountability.
