Just got a subscription to TIDAL. Audio quality is noticeably better than Spotify.

my partner did this a few days ago too and likes it more than Spotify. i'd probably be on Tidal myself if they had the option to upload your personal music library, but they don't, so i'm making do with Apple Music

iCloud Music Library is easily the best feature of Apple Music. Almost no one else has that sort of locker service.

And iTunes Match is still a thing. If you're all about owning your MP3s, you can buy it for like $25/year.

If this ever went away I'd probably leave streaming again lol, it's literally THE feature of AM for me.

  11. 1000% agreed with the two above posts lol. It's so great for a jam band fan or anyone who loves bootleg tapes

I still keep my iTunes library and my streaming client separate because I'm still scared from that one time a million years ago that Apple was deleting files through match

At home I only use my iTunes library and don't steam anything. I use Spotify in the car and at work

    Ugh, I hate America. Supporter

I still only use my library of mp3's and plexamp for anywhere else (car/phone/etc.) and also... free.

Soulseek + buying physical media (and ripping it for storage) or concert tickets to support musicians has always been the way. Spotify are the worst but all the streamers suck horribly.

iBroadcast is what I've been using for the last couple years. Works basically the same as the old Google Play Music app or Plexamp.

Same. I tried Apple Music years ago and it started replacing mp4 files that I owned with their DRM protected m4p files. Been too paranoid to ever try again.

Statement feels misleading as the pictured posts actually begin with a disclaimer that the issues are with the management, not the band, and he actually takes a couple moments to specifically call out the band members as being good people.

I don't give a shit about this band either way, but people are apt to pass the post by without reading it, thinking this is about the band being shit, and that feels disingenuous. Management is clearly pieces of shit though and if the band doesn't drop them ASAP that reflects on them.
