I hated that even after their cancellation, they still got to a big, annoying performance at the SNL50 concert then got a SNL musical guest spot. Like, musical booker person, they are not as beloved now as you seem to think.
Hence my point that had the album been better received by critics like their earlier ones, him being a sex pest wouldn't have mattered unfortunately

Just came to share this. For those not clicking through, Chris #2 from Anti-Flag has now been accused of sexual assault.
Well, that unfortunately explains WHY the rest of the band didn't say anything until the allegations against justin turned into an avalanche of accusations. It's both disappointing and disgusting. It's bad enough, everything Justin did. Knowing chris and the others were like that too makes it all the worse. Just a band of the absolute worst people imaginable. It's a shame chris#2 has been slowly but surely trying to make a comeback. The fact that they were ever one of my favorite bands leaves me with this complete feeling of disgust amd betrayal. Knowing it was worse than the already unthinkably horrifying things justin had done makes me feel genuinely physically sick.
Damn, well that also sheds a bit more light on how off the band statement to Justin's allegations sounded to me (even if I got roasted in the Anti Flag topic on here for saying it didn't feel like a great statement) That's really awful though, and pretty recent all things considered
Most festivals book bands without the bags knowing who else is playing, so I could see how the lineup reveal could be a big WTF moment for him
At the risk of being given answers, have Creed and Shinedown ever been known to perform at events like this? I don't know that I've ever heard either be MAGA.
Some of the themes that are in Planet Zero can be seen as political, mainly about the era of COVID and everything around it. Their first few albums had songs about suicide awareness and mental health but I guess things have changed since then. As for Creed, I'm not aware of them personally being MAGA. They did tour with MAGA bands in the past but I have never seen them saying anything political on or off stage. Myles Kennedy just said in an interview that the new AB album has 0 politics on it so that is something.
Maybe. Googling him and the other band members, they seem to try to thread the needle of not vouching for either side, so I dunno if there's a specific example you're citing? Actually found an article from when Trump won where he said people should be mad that these (Trump and Harris) were our choices, so I'd like to believe he at least doesn't necessarily support the current establishment. I dunno, maybe it's because my brother has conservative viewpoints, but I'm willing to allow that just having conservative views doesn't make someone MAGA or a shit person.
