My favorite part about producing is those final stages that take a song from 95% to 100%. I live for that shit, frustrations and otherwise. This does really suck.

 

And happy accidents when figuring out a part or something, which seem less likely to happen in that case

 

Seeing folks like Morgan Wallen and Playboi Carti still receive Pitchfork accolades in their EOTY stuff is wack

 

that's the cherry on top of me getting an email from Penn State today saying they've booked DaBaby to play next year

 

Seeing Morgan Wallen on the list made me not even want to read it because you can find an insane amount of better songs

 

I’ll never get the hype behind Morgan Wallen his songs are so safe they almost sound like they came from a AI prompt

i know all i need to know about a person that listens to morgan wallen

 

I know that how good or bad an artist's music catalog is has no bearing on their accountability but I genuinely still don't know any person irl that listens to him, even my friends that listen to country seemingly listen to other country artists outside of him

 

I know he has fans, but I have also only encountered him on the radio, and I have a lot of family that listens to country. It's a strange phenomenon.

my SIL loves him. it's her biggest and brightest red flag

 

I want to hold myself accountable that when I first heard “I had some help” I did listen to several times because the chorus melody is absolutely insane, but never heard another song of his at all. Anyone I’ve met that has openly admitted to liking him, I’ve never thigh was cool

 

It's a pretty catchy song

He seems like he's good at his brand of pop country or whatever, but yeah I haven't heard him outside of that song and will never seek him out for obvious reasons

 

Also at Zach Bryan/Jason Isbell the people next to us kept shouting "AHHH MORGAN WALLEN" while Isbell was playing "Cover Me Up" and I just associate him with how annoyed I was at that moment

 

same thing with my future SIL (but also with MGK). if it's not Taylor, Tate, or Sabrina, it's Morgan and MGK on repeat

 

even if you like some of those artists (I like Sabrina), this sounds like kind of a nightmare tbh

 

I was at a restaurant one time and was into the song that was playing so I Shazam’d it, and it turned out to be Morgan Wallen, and I was very sad
