Edit: Looks like she only raised $3.8k out of the $10k goal (Donate to Dove's (FKA Maya Stoner, Floating Room) Legal Defense Fund, organised by dove stoner), so perhaps the legal fees were getting to be too much

 

Obviously can't speak on their relationship/what really happened, but the legalese in the statement coupled with how everyone on Mo's side acted during the entire situation leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. Keegan from Camp Trash was DMing people calling Maya a liar before any of the news even broke. Gross stuff, lost a lot of respect for artists I enjoyed.

From what I've seen of interviews it doesn't seem like he's a nepo baby so I've no idea of his financial situation, but there was at least one side in this who didn't have the money for continued legal fees so it makes this feel unfortunate

 

maya alleged in one of the billion posts that mo’s mom is wealthy and he seemed to somewhat acknowledge the privilege but not necessarily a “nepo baby” in the traditional sense

 

I think I read something about him refusing to eat for that reason. Might’ve been bullshit though, I didn’t really look into it.

This is so dumb that I had to make a comment...

So they decided it would be a good idea to bring in a controversial political figure (that's not even a musician) to a festival, and are now upset things are political? They are incredibly dumb. I also like how they offered to uninvite Kyle after Evergreen Terrence was (rightfully) upset and wanting to drop out. The damage is done, and this is a festival run by clowns.

The story gets even better because that article links to an instagram post where they're doubling down:

The hilarious bit is with so many bands having pulled from the event, their headliner is now a Slipknot cover band.
