Exactly this and according to the tweets Harry still said the F slur which is...not good, especially if that's something that he said without *any* second thought.

Sure.

Someone came forward in Twitter a couple years ago (I want to say this was 2019) and made an anonymous tweet saying Dylan from TMP and Ciaran from TFB sexually abused her. There were no further details provided in the tweet.

Then, in December of 2020 the person made lengthier tweets detailing what happened, that the band chose to keep Ciaran in the band after they came forward on their then upcoming. Tour with Blink-182 before kicking him out afterwards. The Front Bottoms obviously originally ignored the very first statement that was vague, but sent out a letter regarding the more detailed explanation from @condimentcutie, however, it was only shared through their e-mail list and on none of their official social media accounts.



At some point after this, the band ceased responding to messages sent by the survivor.

Since then, the survivor has made tweets as recent as February of this year that they are still uncomfortable with The Front Bottoms continuing their career and they feel accountability has not been met.

Edit to add, not directly about TFB: The survivor was also in contact with the band Sincere Engineer as they were the opening act for a Lollapalooza aftershow headlined by The Front Bottoms, and a member of that band said they would be in continued contact about the survivors concerns (I believe they requested the band drop off the show) and then some point afterwards Sincere Engineer band also ceased contact with the survivor.

 

All Time Low are about to announce a tour with Grayscale (and Gym Class Heroes) opening. When bands are choosing to tour or associate with ATL, after what has come out, is it because they have no idea about what happened, of willful ignorance, or they just do not care about the backlash and the optics of embarking on a tour with a band that has a sexual abuser in it? Because I feel like after the backlash with the whole Falling In Reverse tour someone in the bands (at least Grayscale who are more connected to the scene) had to have realized that announcing a tour with a shitty person probably won't go over well, right?
