Definitely didn’t mean to talk down to anyone for not liking the song and apologies if it was received that way. Just wanted to make a case for the positive aspects of the song even though I am an old who isn’t going to listen to it more more than once. It wasn’t written for me and that’s okay!

i’ve never heard of scene queen, but looking them up/their branding and that video, i can see the concerns that it comes off as a parody

obviously it’s certainly *not* and the message behind it rules, and hey it’s a hell of a good start and like someone else said it’s better to have this than any of the other stuff they’ve been pumping out as a label.

and at the very least, it’s getting people to talk about it, so that’s a win in itself

I was expecting him to just trash the band and all but of course he couldn’t not trash their fans

Ugh, guess that may be why a few artists have left the label

Chelsea Wolfe and Jaye Jayle for sure, Emma Ruth Rundle seems like she may have as well

She has mentioned in a couple podcasts that she has left the label, also definitely changed management (SH was both) and there is no SH on her website contacts

I’m not the most up to date with all things K-Pop, but she seems to be a pretty big deal? Apparently she was seen wearing a QAnon shirt this past week at a performance, which was assumed to be a mistake or oversight on her warbdrobe team. But now, this.

Apparently her label has apologized for “not recognizing the swastika tilted to its side”

SWASTIKAS LOOK THE SAME AT EVERY ANGLE. Globally recognized since Hitler as a hate symbol. I’m perplexed.

I can't say it's the case here, but "globally recognized as a hate symbol" is not entirely accurate. The symbol has been in use in Asian culture for thousands of years and remains in use today without the same stigma that western culture attaches to it.

True, but in most cases when used in modern times people of Hindu and Asian descent, from what I’ve seen online, do not use the bare swastika that the Nazi’s used. As well as Sid Vicious who is on her shirt/a well-known POS during his life. I mean, one of the worst of the worst. Hard for me to find any resemblance genuine innocent ignorance here.
