like i didn’t know who this person was at all and would’ve remained blissfully unaware of how they feel about trans women had i not clicked on the accountability thread today, and thus i wouldn’t feel so bad at the moment

Good to know, I’ll refrain from sharing her stuff in here since she only posts awful shit. I only saw it across my feed and was disgusted and I knew she put out an album a couple years ago.

 

i feel bad most of the time i open this thread because its hardly ever anything but look at the bad thing this person said and its usually someone i wouldnt even care about anyway. i mean i know the "this thread isnt actually about accountability" thing is super old and drawn out and tired but there's gotta be a better way. i dunno. i just hate that something that was supposed to be good and empowering for the community now just makes us feel bad to engage with because its strayed so far from the original intention.

 

She put out a single a couple weeks or so ago that has racked up a whopping 3k plays on Spotify. Seems like her main source of relevance these days is being sampled on a popular producer's song, pumping up her 'monthly' Spotify listeners.

She’s not relevant and frankly I’m not sure why anyone poked this bear to begin with, she’s a piece of shit and everyone who’s ever interacted with her in this scene hates her. I’m not digging at whoever posted this in here as much as hey ily and hoity toity for just kinda doing this knowing this is exactly what would happen

 

Just adding that I clicked the account since I didn’t know who it was, and gave them like a dozen page views they don’t deserve. Like everyone else here. Maybe a screenshot in the future and even then, if they just suck as a person they don’t even fit in this thread

 

her husband is also a confirmed neo-Nazi, iirc. shame i saw her open for Copeland & From Indian Lakes... twice.

 

I obviously don't know every musician ever, but I do know quite a handful having written about this "scene" in some capacity for nearly 10 years, and I have never heard of her outside of this thread. Wild that she ever got to tour with a band like Copeland.
