i thought that too, but on Twitter they said they just learned of the situation within the past 24 hours, so it seems like the other 3 (including Kam) maybe didn't know?

 

ah, that was my bad, I made the assumption that the ex she refers to was also in the band. sounds like she wasn’t quiet about it when it happened so I’m not 100% convinced they had no idea, but that does at least bode well for them. regardless, a horror story :(

Yep. A lot of men will look at abuse through the lens of their daughters “I’m disgusted because if this happened to my daughter...”, but you should be outraged regardless of if you have a daughter or not. Also, you should be thinking about the survivor and how she is feeling rather than the hypothetical scenario where this happens to your daughter. It’s just weird men will center their responses on their own family when their family has nothing to do with the situation. It takes away the focus from the survivor and her receiving the help she needs.

 

A lot of the Tiny Moving Parts fan base thinks because the survivor refused to go through mediation with Dylan that the situation is “done”/“resolved” as Dylan tried to do what he could and she refused. Just because she refused his mediation request does not mean he should be let off the hook! He still admitted that something did happen, and you don’t get to just stop and go to therapy for a week for that and then continue your career like nothing ever happened.

 

Also, the person who accused Dylan also accused Ciaran O’Donnell formerly of The Front Bottoms of sexual assault as well. Does anyone know if he ever responded to the allegations? I’m guessing no, but I may have just missed his response.

 

Neither he nor the band ever responded. He was no longer part of TFB when that allegation was made so I don’t expect them to

 

Age isn’t the only issue here buddy. What a total non-statement. He knows what he did.

 

Murdering people is against the law, standard procedure is to not murder people. This in place to protect all parties. Anything to contrary is false.
