Was there ever any statement released addressing the sexual assault by Ciaran O'Donnell?

Grossly disappointing.

 

They sent out an email about a bunch of limited edition shirts today. I forgot I was on their mailing list and almost expected it to be some kind of comment on the accusation. Then it was merch....

 

I guess they feel like addressing the sexual assault allegation against a former member of their band is less important than uh *checks notes* promoting their split single with Kevin Devine, the first activity on their Twitter in nearly THREE MONTHS:

 

That sucks. Do we know that they know?

 

I don’t really expect a band to put out a statement on someone who hasn’t been a member of the band for over a year personally, but that’s just me I guess

 

What were the circumstances behind him leaving? I didnt even know it happened

 

Honestly no clue, but I do know that I first heard he was replaced in January of last year, and that was probably at least weeks after it happened

 

I’m pretty sure the tweet mentioned it happening after a show, although I could be mistaking it for the TMP part.

 

I'm running a cold and I used my Ryan Adams t-shirt as a hanky. This thing is fucking disgusting now so it's pretty appropriate I'd say.
