Whenever I hear these stories it makes me think of when I used to go out to the bars/clubs in college and there was always at least one dude trying moves like this where they'd go up to pretty much any random girl and ask if they wanted to go home with him or make out or whatever and 9/10 times he'd be rejected, but there was always one girl who would say yes. And it always made me so mad to see not only the guy acting like this, but at the girl who would go with him.

I don't mean to say it is the fault of the victim at all, I just wish more women knew, as the woman in this story says towards the end, trust you instincts and know you are worth so much more than a one night stand and to be used no matter how famous the guy is

This sucks to hear about Borns. I was going to see him a few years ago at a really small venue near where I attended college but it sold out before I could buy a ticket. I remember a lot of young girls were going to the show and really into him then, not that that should mean anything, but I guess I’m not surprised.

 

What strikes me reading all these stories regarding Borns is, legalities aside, these kids are so young and it comes across in how they tell their stories. Even if these encounters were somehow consensual, just sad that he would take advantage and manipulate young girls like that.

 

Borns is going on a massive tour (or is already on it). He’s playing a 5000 capacity venue here in chicago. I wonder if the tour will be canceled seeing he is denying the allegations and this is his biggest tour to date.

 

Dunno. My wife and I have tickets to see him on Thu at Radio City though part of the reason we're going is due to Twin Shadow opening. On the fence about going now.

 

Moose Blood's statement seriously gives me a fucking headache. Like, it's just so needlessly antagonistic and defensive. This Borns guy sounds like a royal fucking turd too.

Like... I have a hard time believing that video screenshot isn't a product of the hard times...it is that much of a caricature of itself.

 

I watched the first few minutes of it because I don’t know the story about what happened. He seems like the kind of guy who won’t believe anything without 100% tangible proof in hand. And he’s annoying as hell in general.

He said both guys accused were immediately kicked out of the band. I doubt that’s true. Is it?

Him and his girlfriend have always been trash and I hate that he keeps getting new viewers.

Many months ago, I called him out for saying AFI were only making new music because of monetary reasons on his review of their most recent album and he messaged me telling me I was a horrible / awful person because I called him out on his bullshit.
