The comments I’ve seen are already filled with “he was abusing steroids, he wasn’t in the right mind” and I just can’t even. If I cheated on my girlfriend while drunk, would anyone be shocked if “I was drunk” didn’t work as an excuse? Steroid abuse or not, the dude is still a giant piece of shit.

I don't know anything about the side effects of steroids but I highly doubt they'll change someone from loving his wife to wanting her dead. If steroid usage had any play in it at all then it probably just increased the idea of having his wife killed that was already going through his head.

I know the other members wanted nothing to do with him a few years ago. I don't know how they could all be comfortable performing and touring with him.

That's some weak and shameful integrity. I was going to support them two years ago because I felt bad for them that they were put into a situation that their musical careers were dampened by Tim but now it's going to be on them.

 

We're now at the point where I can't even keep track of what artists have done what in the music scene. I posted about that Many Rooms tour last night completely forgetting that was the "would ride for shitty friends" twitter thing ... the world is a god damn mess.

his last record was extremely critically acclaimed and at least on bandcamp had a lot of supporters. im just saying in metal people will look past awful shit for the sake of music or whatever.

 

With Lambesis it's even easier for his fans to justify it, his lyrics were always about coming to terms with past mistakes, penance, rehabilitation, etc. The irony is they can't see how much bullshit that all was.
