So I wanna comment on this only because it’s been so long since the start of this investigation. I truly hope that it took this long because they were trying to get the most amount of evidence possible. I know the scope is different but it’s been driving me crazy that in media, the issues Chappell roan and Sabrina have been facing the last few weeks have seemed to get more traction than ANYTHING having to do with this person. And then yesterday he was convicted. I’ve seen NOTHING. I’m hysterical woman right now because what the fuck is this
i thought the same thing , why did it take this long? it seems almost swept under the rug, i feel your pain, my gf lives in southern california and we are still upset about this whole horrible situation
Sending love to you and your gf, I can barely imagine what she’s thinking being in a close area. I’m in MA so just feeling the effects. I would definitely expect this to get swept under the rug because people in media only think they’ll get clicks and views for scary media. Yet confirmed black on black violence barely gets any news anymore. Disgustingly so. but I think even more so, forums and internet outlets loved the whole murder mystery story. Now that stuff is concretely in police files, why is there no more traction… it’s very sad and confusing to me.
and we feel for the girls family, to just have their daughter disappear without any answers it so sad & scary! but yeah we both found out about it at the same time and it could be anyone just taken like that. I'm not sure why there is barely any coverage but like you said maybe they truly had to know, but how else would her bones/body have gotten in his car?
I definitely wrote that with emotion because looking back, of course there’s no info- it’s a confidential case where they’re trying to convict so it makes sense. just terrifying to know it takes this long when the proof is 100% there.
My read on it from covering crime and court cases is they wanted an airtight case. Murder cases can be tough to prosecute, especially when evidence is destroyed or it takes some digging in digital files to gather evidence and build the case. Like we’ve seen with OJ, a couple of sloppy mistakes and you have an acquittal. Sometimes these cases take a long time to build.
There's a lot more info out now about the Celeste Rivas Hernandez case, but I do want warn that it is gruesome
He wasn't convicted, he was charged. It took so long because in a potential capital murder case, the police want to make sure it's an airtight case. They have 40 Terabytes of evidence against him. That doesn't take a few days or weeks to gather and go over.
He is SO CLOSE to understanding that he’s r*ped before. Says every other word every other way except the correct word.
Yeah, do not read the details of Celeste's death if you want to enjoy the rest of your day. This dude sounds straight-up evil.
I actually think she makes a very good point, but at the same time, this guy broke an assistant's hand with a computer monitor
