Dropping a reminder in light of news out of the UK that buying any licensed Harry Potter merchandise or watching movies on streaming platforms or continuing to buy new video games is directly giving money to JK which she then uses to fund things like the recent ruling that trans women are by UK law not women. People are gonna do what they want but maybe some people who didn’t believe their dollars mattered here will change their minds

 

I know some people waffle under the whole 'no ethical consumption under capitalism' schtick but with JK it's a pretty fucking clear line

 

Aren’t NDA’s not enforceable if the act they disclose is criminal?

 

Generally but it’s not that simple from what I understand. Either way so much abuse especially against women isn’t criminalized that I don’t think that really should matter when talking about getting rid of them
