So many men only care about women until it means walking away from their friends. Like, even Mookie Betts stuck his neck out for Trevor Bauer. I’m at a point where I just assume this is where most of them stand unless they make a statement or something like Jason Isbell did with Ryan Adams

 

I know it doesn't matter whether I recognize someone or not but I truly feel insane sometimes when I Google something like that and find out "the voice of Dr. Eggman from Sonic the Hedgehog is pro- Israel"

 

Thought the same thing bc when I saw #recasteggman I definitely thought the tweet was about to be about Jim Carrey

Not sure if this is relevant to many of you, but a big “booktuber” has some pretty serious allegations against him. He made a short video saying he’s suing her. Really fucked up situation.

Edit: she never mentioned him, but he sent her a cease and desist. Sounds like a confession.

So true but it doesn’t even have to be friends. Just people in the same group as you. You see it in sports leagues because they’re so public and male dominated, players will embrace another player and even go out of their way to defend them over an abused woman. But that mentality is pervasive across many groups. It’s extremely gross and needs to be called out more.

 

The Don’s Plum guy’s memoir that I’m reading (not great) has a pretty horrific alleged event involving Leonardo DiCaprio coercing a woman into a sexual event at a party in front of a bunch of people while Ethan Suplee filmed it. Again, alleged, but the events of the book are supposed to be all true.

 

Just a reminder that group of friends referred to themselves The Pussy Posse back when they were all aspiring actors
