“He grabbed both my arms and screamed in my face, ‘DON’T EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN!’” she writes in the book. “And he threw me to the ground. Flat on my back. Wind knocked out of me.”

Philipps remembers everyone on set was horrified. The Dawson’s Creek alum apparently sobbed to her co-star Linda Cardellini, who advised her to call her manager. The next day, Franco supposedly apologized after being ordered to do so by the director and producers. However, she notes that he was never punished for his supposed behavior.

He sucks so bad. Really wish they had kicked him off The Deuce. Good for her for telling the story.

  6. Maybe unrelated... I'm like three episodes into the third season of Fargo right now, just clicked on a YouTube video of Corden interviewing MEW, and like half the comments are calling her a homewrecker and this is all news to me but like yeah having an affair is bad but isn't rape and abuse so much worse like wow why are people so angry about strangers' relationships

Also Ewan McGregor cheated on his wife of 20+ years with her but it's all her fault somehow

I think they both suck but like as a bitter child of divorce and cheating parents lol it does upset me. Not as much as rape and abuse but like MEW had dinner in their home with their family. He has kids and the story broke on one of their birthdays. One of his daughters posted a song about her pain from it all and it's all just rly sad. They're both home wreckers tho and I think less of both of them

That's so sad. I had no idea about all the layers to that story.

  10. Yeah, I definitely think less of them, but it's like, I'm still going to finish the season, and I'm still going to be able to rewatch and enjoy Scott Pilgrim or Beginners or whatever, whereas now I can hardly watch clips of Parks and Rec if Aziz is in them. The level of anger one must feel to want to comment "homewrecker" on a friggin YouTube video... it's like their priorities are reversed.

Yeah tbh like the kids have a right to feel their way like my parents divorce was traumatizing af and changed my whole life but like... Their divorce is not impacting random people in that way lol

imagine getting away with preying on children for 20 years and having the audacity to say people are out to get you

It's sickening that Bryan Singer has been openly accused of this shit for years and people continue to work with him

Singer’s immensely proud of “Bohemian Rhapsody” - ya know, the movie where he just one day stopped showing up to direct.

Wait I thought I remember a story about Singer being removed from the film and being replaced by someone else? Did that not happen?

He wasn't removed he just walked off set one day and never returned. Studio hired someone else to finish the film but Singer is the credited director.

Damn that makes his claims of calling it "his film" and saying how proud of it he is even more annoying

Is it possible that he walked away from the film because he knew this was coming? The statement read like he knew that they were investigating him for a while.

He's known people were investigating him for years and years and years. There have already been major stories and lawsuits.

  22. Cheating can 100% be abuse (it isn't always... a one off affair? Not necessarily. But it certainly can be and often goes hand in hand with other abusive behaviors) and that's why... agree completely. Cheating was a factor in my parents split and the abusive kind was levied at me for years in my own dating life so I absolutely think less of people who cheat and people who are knowingly complicit in that cheating. It's about integrity.

The problem is that women tend to be the ONLY ones who carry that burden, not men. Hell, women who get cheated ON tend to get looked down on more than the men who cheat on them. It's wild.

Being cheated on after a very long relationship has 100% altered by life and even though I should be at the point where I "move on", I absolutely am not. I'm over her but not over the pain, doubt, trust issues, etc... It's terrible.

  24. I'm so sorry, and I 100% get it because same.

Good luck, it's really tough. It's woven its barbs throughout nearly every aspect of my life and I think only therapy and maybe medication is the only answer for me. We'll see.
