been seeing tiktoks about the press tour for It Ends With Us, Justin being very mindful about the DV subject matter while Blake and Colleen are promoting it as a romcom (the DV hotline isn't listed at the end of the movie). also, quite possible that Ryan (who's not even involved in the film) rewrote a scene during the writers strike
For context, years and years ago I read that a fistfight broke out between George and David on the set of Three Kings. And then there was the leaked BTS video of I Heart Huckabees
I know it's not cool to comment on people's appearance, but Mr Beast has the deadest eyes and it creeps me the fuck out. He looks like a husk of a human.
Given how often he is in front of a camera, you'd think he'd have learned or been trained how to smile better than he does.
I’ve only heard the name Mr Beast and rarely at that but him “smiling” like Chandler in pictures is unsettling and kind of hilarious (not to be mean to how someone looks when I look like I look) for someone who’s been in media/YouTube world or whatever for as long as he seemingly has. And that Katy Perry picture, yikes. Two images that are kindling for nightmares.
i mean, that very well may have been posted because of the controversy, but like, good on her nevertheless, bare minimum
Oh to be clear I was not posting that in a defending Blake way (although I think it’s good she posted something), just posting in a neutral way that she posted something. I have seen people say that she only posted that for damage control and that it’s too late now though.
Apparently there are allegations that he made Blake uncomfortable during filming. Not really sure where it originated though.
I was not aware of this movie's existence until it came up in this thread and it seems to have bad vibes all over it
i've seen the trailer a few times in theaters already, i'm surprised you haven't since you seem to go see the same horror i do
It’s gotten a tonnnnnn of bad PR over the past few weeks or so. That’s the only reason I know about it (aside from my mom and sister talking about how they don’t want to see it despite both reading the book it is adapted from because of the contents of the movie and the PR surrounding it) It reminds me a lot of Don’t Worry Darling because all I am hearing about this movie is bad PR or something negative.
It's bizarre because all these articles allude to something Justin did wrong but none of them give any details and I don't recall any negative stories coming out during filming. Whereas with don't worry darling, there were frequent neg stories about Harry and Olivia wilde being unprofessional during filming. Justin has a good reputation as far as I know, and that doesn't mean he doesn't suck, but it's all just weird and vague
Yeah, I don't know if it's theater-dependent (ours is a Cinemark) but I haven't seen a single trailer.
It also feels weird how eager some ppl get to tear down a female celeb and put them in their place tho. And of course many social media users are failing to find the nuance.
